If you have been on a boat before you will have noticed that a lot of things are different for example the terminology used like port and starboard. The PADI Boat Diver Specialty Course is for divers who want to get familiarised with planning, organisation, techniques and especially enjoyment of diving from a boat.

Boat diving planning

As part of your PADI Boat Diver Specialty Course M.A. Diving will introduce you to boat diving planning and problems, proper boat diving etiquette, including equipment storage and conduct, common boat terminology, boat diving laws and an overview of emergency and safety equipment needed on dive boats.

The Boat Diver from the PADI Adventure or Advanced Open Water Diver Course credits towards this course. The gained certification counts for the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.
